I have been missing Mattea, my granddaughter, very much. A few days ago Joel called to say "Let's have some webcam time", which was an answer to prayer. We had not been able to connect for 2 months. Then this morning Miranda, my daughter in law, mailed me some pictures of Mattea that just melted my heart. David saw how much I enjoyed them and promptly got them developed at the lab downtown. Tonight he said I must put them on the blog so everyone can see my precious 22 month old Mattea Jean. :) I am thankful to the Lord for my family! Thank you, Joel and Miranda! I love you!

Wow Diana - that's got to be really tough. As a new gramma myself (for the last 2.5 weeks) I can certainly relate. Those are some wonderful pictures, too. What a little cutie. I'm glad we have the technology today that allows you to communicate more easily than snail mail.
That has got to be the MOST beautiful child I have ever laid eyes on. The parents must have some sort of mutated... super human... beautiful... good looking genes in them. If only every child could look like that, well, the world would be a much better place.
