Last weekend there was a Muslim festival in our city. Camels were running amouk but it was too crowded to go see them with Ben. So...Sunday afternoon as David and I were returning from the vegetable market on the motorcycle, we passed a camel and his owner! David quickly went back to ask the man if he would walk his camel down our street so Ben could see it. The man lives nearby and complied. The rest is "happy history" for Ben!

I have always thought it too would be interesting to see a camel close up. Is it true that they spit a lot? :)
